2 Man 2 Ball Aggregate Score (1 net, 1 gross)
— Twosomes are drawn at random by the tournament Director or designee prior to play.
— Each Player on the team plays his own golf ball throughout the round, and on each hole the team will select one best ball (net) with handicap applied and one gross score.
— The aggregate score using one best ball and one gross score will become the team score for that hole.
For example, Player “A” scores a gross score of 8, net score 7 and Player “B” scores a gross score of 5 and net score of 4. The team uses Player “A” net of 7 and Player “B” gross score of 5 for an aggregate score of 12 for the hole. The team with the lowest aggregate score for the round win

Every Golfer Can Help Speed Up Play
Using Carts
- Whenever possible & not interfering with another player in the group’s next shot, take passengers to their ball first and let them select the club for the next shot, then proceed to your own ball. Don’t wait for your partner to hit before moving to your own ball.
- When around the green, park the cart on the part of the path closest to the next tee. This offers the fastest exit from the green and speeds play for the group that follows.
General Hints
- After putting out, move immediately to the next tee before recording your score or figuring your stroke count. You may be surprised at how much time this simple rule can save.
- Always be ready to hit. Don’t wait for other golfers to hit before selecting your club.
- On par-3 holes, continue to play. Concentrate on maintaining pace with the group ahead of you rather than offering the group behind to “hit up”. Offering the group behind to “hit-up” actually slows play.
- On the putting surface, line up your putts while others are putting. Don’t wait until it’s your turn to take practice strokes and determine your line. Putt out short putts rather than marking the ball.

POINT-QUOTA SYSTEM
Each player is given a point-quota, based on his handicap. Points are scored as follows: Bogey-1, Par-2, Birdie-4, Eagle-8. Player whose point total for 18 holes most exceeds his point-quota, (or comes closest, if none exceeds it) wins. Find your point-quota opposite your handicap below.

What’s the Rule?
The ricochet ruling
They say that trees are 90% air, but it’s amazing how often they get in the way. What happens next is anyone’s guess. Take the case of the guy whose shot hits a tree and the ball bounces straight back at him. Instead of swinging at it, he instinctively catches it. He happens to be standing in the rough. Now what?
Answer: This is an accidental deflection, and because the ball is now considered to be “on” the player, that player is entitled to drop the ball within one club length of where he caught it, no closer to the hole, without penalty. If that one club length happens to take him out of the rough into the fairway or some other friendlier lie, lucky him.

BLIND 9
After completion of play, nine random holes are selected for scoring and standings are based on those nine holes. Players’ scores on the selected holes are handicapped with the standard handicaps. (whatever that really means…)
